Winchester Tennis Courts

The hard courts are free to use. On-site amenities include restrooms, parking, water fountains, and shaded areas. A pro shop, viewing areas, court reservations, lessons, and tournaments are also available. Courts are fully fenced, with nets and equipment provided.

Early mornings, 6 to 8 AM, are quiet with short waits. Evenings, 5 to 7 PM, are the busiest, so arrive early or reserve a court. Weekends fill quickly, especially Saturday mornings. Midday, 11 AM to 2 PM, tends to have open courts. In summer, play before 10 AM to avoid the worst heat.

Parking is available for court users, and public transportation reaches the site. The location suits cyclists, with walking paths nearby.

Hard courts get hot in summer, so play in the early morning. Bring sunscreen and a hat for daytime sessions. Water fountains are on site, but pack extra water for longer sessions.
