The LMU Tennis Center sits on the campus of Loyola Marymount University, in the Westchester neighborhood of Los Angeles. This guide covers what to expect on and off the courts so you can plan your visit.

Court Features & Amenities

Multiple hard courts, open 4 pm to 8 pm. Play is free. On-site amenities include restrooms, parking, water fountains, shaded areas, a pro shop, viewing areas, and a snack bar. Court reservations and tournaments are available.

The LMU Tennis Center sits in Westchester, a residential area on the Westside of Los Angeles. Westchester has tree-lined streets and a community shaped by LMU and its proximity to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Practical Information

Best Times to Play

Weekends fill up fast, Saturday mornings most of all. Midday hours, 11 AM to 2 PM, tend to have open courts. In summer, play before 10 AM to beat the heat.

Location & Access

Court users can park on site. Public transit reaches the center, and walking paths nearby make it good for cyclists. It sits in a quiet residential part of Westchester.

Playing Tips

Hard courts heat up in summer, so play in the early morning. Bring sunscreen and a hat for daytime play. Water fountains are on site, but pack extra water for longer sessions.
